Weather a bit gloomy this morning but not as bad as Richard. His back is really bad. Can hardly walk or even stand up. He spent the whole morning lieing on the bed watching people going out sea kayacking around the bays which made him feel even worse. The pain got so bad that in the end the only thing they could do was get a rescue helecopter to take him to Blenhem hospital for a check up. Stayed there all afternoon with all the drunks from a nearby festival before being given a large cocktail of drugs and told to stay the night.
They did not think anything major wrong with the back but wanted him overnight, Richard wanted to get back to the hotel and insisted they let him go. Finally arrived back at 9.30pm after taxi ride and water taxi out to the hotel. Glad to be back. Julia dined with a couple called Maggie & Glyn who we got quite friendly with who were staying for an extra night.
What a waste of a great stay that was supposed to be perfect R + R.
